Is It Too Much?

The Dubai Marina from Ibn Battuta Mall. (15-Dec-2005)

Pictures may speak a thousand words, but do they really tell the true story? Does this photo tell the story of the beautiful upscale, high-rise development that the Dubai Marina is to be? Or could it just be the wrong angle at the wrong time?

  • It looks cramped and more like one very long concrete wall..Dubai luxury at its best.

  • I like the Marina like this.

Manhattan is dense too and is very popular as well. The more the merrier. :-)

As long as the designs are proper, the construction quality is OK and there is no shades on the beach it is OK with me.

  • It's still a work in progress, that's one reason it all doesn't look very nice in this picture. For those who like things at ground level, there will still be lots of that all over Dubai. It's nice to have the option of soaring towers, for those who like that.
